Just West of Stevenson, on the Northeastern banks of beautiful Rock Cove, lies the Skamania County Fairgrounds.
The open grounds, three main buildings and arena with bleachers provide ample space for a wide variety of event and activities.

Easy Interstate access from the Portland/Vancouver area - Just follow I-84 east through the Columbia River Gorge, to Exit 44, cross the beautiful Bridge of the Gods, and go east on State Hwy 14 to Stevenson!

Traveling east on Hwy 14 toward Stevenson, take Rock Creek Road around Rock Cove to the Skamania County Fairgrounds. From Stevenson, take Rock Creek Drive from the west end of town (by Main St. Convenience Store) to Rock Creek Park.

Stevenson

Located just 45 miles from the Portland/Vancouver area, Stevenson lies in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge.This historic waterfront town offers diverse dining, lodging and shopping opportunities, and is the perfect home base for a wide variety of activities.

Facilities

The Skamania County Fairgrounds includes a number of facilities that lend themselves well to a variety of uses.Buildings include an exhibit hall, two barns, an arena and a recreation center.

Exhibit Hall

The Exhibit Hall is located on the south side of the Fairgrounds and will be used to accommodate Vendors (Concessionaires). The floor plan includes the proposed layout for 10’x10’ vendor booths, accommodating a total of 22 Vendors (Concessionaires) inside with six additional spaces outdoors.
Booths may be combined for additional display space.

Southern Horse Barn

The Southern Horse Barn will be used for Vendors (Concessionaires) and/or a demonstration area.
The back of this building is used for storage, but the front area will accommodate 14 10’x10’ booths.

Northern Horse Barn

The Northern Horse Barn will be used for Vendors (Concessionaires) or possibly a demonstration area. There would be space for 28 10’x10’ booths.

Arena

The Arena w/bleachers is located directly north of the Exhibit Hall. By the spring/summber 2001, the arena is scheduled to be covered, further expanding its value.
The arena is 261’ x120’ (Approx 33,600 sq.ft.) and has grand stand seating for 688 people.

Rock Creek Community Center

This Community Center, which features an auditorium with seating for 300 and a stage, is available for use.
